Armstrong positive 04/07/1999 Positive test ID 276
L'Equipe alleged that traces of banned substances were found in a test after Stage 1 of the 1999 Tour de France. Armstrong was cleared by the UCI after receipt of a prescription, but years later it emerged that the UCI itself was the source of the data.
