Wegelius cleared 02/12/2003 Appeal against sanction ID 572
According to contemporary reports, injuries sustained from a motorbike accident were declared responsible for Wegelius' high haematocrit. The rider was cleared of any suspicion. Wegelius' biography later corrected that his values were naturally high.
